Wildlife

Drove through this area over the weekend and saw 4 moose, a couple of foxes, an owl and of course deer. Life is moving again in Northwestern Ontario and it is less than 2 weeks till opening of walleye season - can't wait.

Can sure see why some people call moose "swamp donkeys" though

"Swamp donkeys" haha! Great sightings. So far this year I have seen 3 bears, 1 moose, a lynx and a couple wolves. Oh and of course, a lot of deer.

Has anyone ever seen a cougar in Ontario? I have heard from some that they have seen some, and from others that they don't live in Ontario at all. By the way great sightings both of you ;)
